As an ex 4 pack a day smoker, I feel qualified as an expert at this.

Mark, just get a box of patches and don't take any sigs with you on the plane, you'll be fine.
Otherwise, you'll be in Europe for God's sake.
The entire world outside the US is just one big ashtray.
      Not that Oklahoma isn't also.

Yup, you're coming to the free world chap. That said I recently pushed for an all out ban on smoking in the union bar, which pleased me to bits when it went through. No more going home stinking of someone elses cigarettes for me!

The girl I'm seeing at the minute wants to try and stop completely because she knows I don't like her smoking around me which is pretty cool of her. She's doing a damn good job of it too. REally shows strength of character, that.

You can smoke pretty much anywhere, however if you're going on a Potter tour then you should check in any teashop/cafe you enter. Pubs will be fine... you're in for a culture shock with a lot of the "local" pubs though I can tell you!

If you're going to be going to a few places try a few of the house ales in any pub you visit, especially any honey ale you happen to find. I fookin love honey ale.

Is that what they're calling it these days?

I know lots of people who have quit cigarettes ... countless times.

I never understood why people start in the first place.

I wish I could quit (well drastically cut down) food for more than few months at a time.

I've been smoking casually for a while now, but only when I'm on a night out and I want a bit of extra confidence with the ladies. I started smoking quite heavily after my christmas holiday, but I started drinking quite heavily aswell so the two are kinda connected. Now I'm back to only smoking on a night out which is about 4 cigarettes a week, Whenever I think I *need* one I don't smoke one. Simple.
