At times, things went to slow (fights took too long, long periods in which nothing happend), and then the keymoments seem to go too fast. I feel Lucas could have distributed this better.

Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!
Finally saw the movie. Thought it was very good, sans the dialogue. Though I was impressed with the line, "So this is how a republic falls. To thunderous applause." Besides that, the dialogue went from okay to gawd aweful.
The overall plot and story were very good. Lots of symbolic, and blatant, references to things like "pride leadeth to the fall," all good things come to end, complatency leads to your own undoing (Lucas should have learned his own lesson and let someone else write the dialogue). Most of the story was convincing ... considering the SciFi settings.
Overall I give it a B+, as the actors, action, FX, and story carry the movie well enough to overcome at least most of the bad dialogue. I just wonder how much Portman laughed at her lines in private before she could say them with a straight face.

I noticed some stray elements on some brightly backlit bluescreen shots but generally I thought the CGI was quite good and flowed well. Some of Obi-Wan riding that beast around was a bit jerky though.

I heard from a fairly reliable source that Lucas will be making a TV series, but not another movie.
That wouldn't happen to be the same source that everyone else and their dog has heard from as well? This is nothing new and has been plastered all over the web for weeks at the least.

Two of them to be exact. One will be a live action show that takes place between ep 3 and 4 that will air on the WB. The seconf will be a computer animated series, but no more detail than that has been released. Bets are on Gendy Tartakovsky, who did the Clone Wars micro-series for Cartoon Network, doing the CG Star Wars.
