I know what 88 (can) stand for, but 888?

Luckily, I see Rakido is viewing the thread so maybe he can shed some l8 on this.

Apparently there's some secret rule that if your post count stays at 888 for more than a day then your account is banned for life.

Do you really pronounce the word "light" the same as the word "eight," Umf?

Uhm, no. In fact, in Dutch, I hate some of the changes that "occur" to our language by mistakingly pronouncing vowels as other vowels. But given that this was about 888, I just had to get an eight in there. Sry. (So, no, light I do not pronounce as "late").

BTW ... SW types use "I18N" as a designation for Internationalization, or coding SW to support messages in the local language. "I18N" represents the character count as well as sound of the word "Internationalization" ("I nternationalizatio N").

                          isn't that 1/3 worse than 666

Well, looking at my phone I notice that 666 can spell M-O-M, which makes sense because mom's can be quite evil. 888 (letters TUV) can spell T-U-T, so, Rakido is obviously the reincarnate of King Tut. It's the only reasonable explanation. *cough

Since that reconstruction of Tut's face looks like an androgynous Barbara Streisand, I would take that as an insult!
