A friend of mines father was a major HAM radio operator....as in the kind that would put a multi-kilowatt rig in his camper. Once some kids were playing their boom box too loud at a camp-vention.

The story goes that he asked and asked them to turn down the volume in the wee hours of the night without any results so he unhooked his transmitter from the mast, connected it to a dish and targeted the boom box.

After a major squeal the noise was no more
