Crap. And anyway I could easily choose at least free, perhaps all answers, depending on situation, mood, etc...and if I had to choose, than for example I would probably answer something different thanone week or one month ago...(not to mention that I find my parts of my characteristic in all descriptions, but also in all of them something seriously doesn't fit...)
(well, if you want to know, mostly S, C, D, in that order (but I'm not saying that one is >> than next!)
And somehow I don't like how's this centered around work apparently (yes, I can translate to other life situations...but thsy shouldn't assume you have to do that yourself when that's a public little test...)Last edited by Nowhere; 17 June 2005, 02:00.

Fat Tone, since your site is apparently not only "something for the people", but also a research project, ask somebody if I can participate (well, at my faculty everyone mostly agrees that including in your research psychology students isn't a good idea ). Probably nobody will mind (since sample of population will be large enough...or at least I hope so, for the ones who're running the thing ), but just to be certain...

Am I guessing right that (obviously quite specific...) codes of educational levels are of some degrees of higher education? (so if formally my education at this point is "middle/secondary/high school (not sure how you call it, and dict lists all this options, so...) - just the thing that gives acces to University) than I am "none"?)
edit: also, does separated in Englisg refers specifally to marriage? Or perhaps non cohabiting relationship properly describes the one which...well, we're not together, but there is definetelly something between us.Last edited by Nowhere; 17 June 2005, 06:13.

edit: doh, new forum software can send messages via icq directlyLast edited by Nowhere; 17 June 2005, 06:42.

Hi
I need to make the education levels change depending on country, but I don't yet have the info to do that.
O level /gcse/cse = age 15
A/AS/A2 level = age 18
graduate = having a degree, usually by 21/22
postgraduate means things like Doctorates (PhD, MPhil etc)
professional means just that.
Separated means married but living apart (usually leads to a divorce)
non-cohabiting means like boyfriend/girlfriend, living at separate addresses.
HTH, and thanks for taking the time to ask.

So probably A/AS/A2 level is closets to our highschool (even though it's age 19 here...).
Now I jus have to decide about religion...I wonder if I am "Other Christian" if I have some form of views/doubts/thoughts that are individual but with heavy influence of Catholicism (excluding all crap)...probably "Other Religions/philosophy" suits me best...
Oh, and also if I'm single or non-cohabiting (hey! my life's complicated I mentioned it lately in some thread...). So to be precize: does the above things mean in English/on the site the "formal"/"official" status? Or can non-cohabiting mean also that you're deeply involved with somebody? (even if there are enormous obstacles and no usual activities associated with typical relationship)
edit: yep, I have more time than I thought - the computer at which I'm sitting has wrongly set clock

Thing is I know which fit me best...but there are subtle differneces between languages...(and overall moving psychological tests between countries is not so obvious as translation, which in itself can be problematic)
for example PL translation of single is "samotny", but that word definetelly doesn't fit in my case...OTOH PL translation of "cohabiting" very strongly suggests that negation of it fits my situation perfectly. And on top of that...you seem to think otherwise (those subtle differnces that I mentioned...)
To sum it up, I feel pity for the people at my faculty who had the experience of adapting alien psychological tests, etc. for local needs
And one more conclusion: because of the issues above, it might (I only say might ! I don't know how the researchers have handled the thing) be risky to permit some (well...most ) IP ranges in such research...Last edited by Nowhere; 17 June 2005, 07:49.

LOL, while Gurm and a few others are not sure of themselves most people are, so it is not entirely useless as you put it.
In most cases it's not how you see yourself, it's how others preceive you, for example... just by having a 20 minute conversation or working with someone for an hour or so will give you a good understanding of how that person is wired if you have some knowledge in personality styles.
Also for those not sure, it's not wrong to be a bit of both trades, sometimes you have more Dominant personalities than Cautious, or more Supportive then Inspiring, so I agree it would be a bit difficult, and sometimes you have to visit or become a different personality to get the job done, which is extremely hard to do, but you can't just ask a D type to take 3 hours out of his or her time to go shoping in the middle of a project that is due tomorrow, where an I type will LOL!
Cheers,
Elie
