This is one proud daddy. Erik, our 7 y/o 1st grader, just got back his Iowa test scores (a national proficiency test) and we're dancing for joy.
The national average for the Iowa test is 50-54, but Erik scored 97 with a catagorical peak of 98.
This goes along with a DIBLES test (reading proficiency) where the 1st grade average is 42-45, but Erik scored a 201. This is higher than the expected score for 4th graders.

Now....if only we could get him to not turn the house into a disaster area.
