  • Leaving for abroad...

OK, I know there have been a whole crap load of post whoring threads like this. But this isn't really one of them (yet ).

Anyway, essentially, I'm just letting you guys know that I'll be leaving for Hong Kong (with mum) on the 14th, and could be gone for up to 6 months (maximum stay). Currently set for the 14th to come back from Hong Kong. Could come back sooner, but that depends on a few things which are currently complete unknowns.

So no one go jittery and think the monk has gone to meet the maker or anything like that when I'm gone. Unless I don't post again after 7 months. In which case, you can start the rumor mill on what might have happened to me.

Anyway, take care all. And from the 14th, see you all in 6 months.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

Cool. Just remember, there are no refunds on readings (as the readings are still free, otherwise I'll be broke )

Nah, not quite. The girl is in London and might be visiting HK around Oct/Nov.

Why will you be cut off?
Last time I checked HK had internet service available.
I VPNed in to work here every day for 2 weeks last July from Guangzhou.
So the wires even go at least 100 miles inland from HK.

They have access to the Internet, it's just I'll VERY likely be seeing little to none of it. As my mum is going along with me, and she has things to do (and I can't leave her alone due to health and age related problems), so that takes up half a day (at least) if not more every day. And the stuff I'm trying to get done is going to take up the rest of the time (I suppose you can call it training, of sorts...). I doubt I'll have much time to sleep, much less browse MURC during the time in HK. If I get access to MURC (or the net in general), I'm never gonna complete training, and will probably end up doing what guchi did, as in racking up a huge bill. And money is at a premium for this trip. (Everything is economy, or super economy, not a pleasure trip )

Of course, it doesn't mean I won't try and browse every so often when I finally do get some spare time.

Typical, not going for work, and yet I end up spending more time doing stuff than resting and having fun in general

Thanks. Yeah, hoping NGB really is as hard as they claim. Want to fight a (whole group of) Demon Ryu who can do virtually anything I can do too.

I could only last like 2 seconds with the second Hurricane pack. Is that what they called the third tourney?

Yeah, the first tournament was just scoring as much points as possible. The first "Hurricane Pack" gave the intercept and other extras (Luna and changed item locations). This was the second tournament. The third tournament was with the second "Hurricane Pack". Which gave a few more foes to fight in a confined space (and one absolute B!TCH of a boss that made most people not bother after a while due to difficulty).

Rumor had it there was to be a third "Hurricane Pack". But it might have been mis-translation.

yeah, so i could just beat the first and maybe the second round in the third tourney. Beyond that it was too tough. I'm impressed if you did it.
