And what is up with the President being regarded as some kind of prophet/holy figure? *sigh*

    !
In the TV guide suppositly the fleet splits into two.....with the President and Zerreck with that part of the fleet.
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Yeah so they say. Also Apollo is supposed to start off the season pretty rebellious and anti-hero, but then end up all heroic. Also they vigorously deny that Apollo and Starbuck will hook up this season. Dammit.

She was doing his brother! This isn't a soap opera. I stop watching the minute they get together!

        (Unless there's a nude scene)
        P.S. You've been Spanked!

Oh, c'mon. There was already a "Kara is boffing Dr. Baltar but fantasizing that it's Apollo" scene. It's ONLY a matter of time...

It's aired on Channel "Mininova" every Friday night about an hour after it airs on Sci-Fi.

Totally agree what even made it stupidier was that the chief tried to safe him, totally unrealistic in that situation. But the rest of the story on Kobol could become interesting.

I laughed so much in that scene when the Chief picked the guy up and put him on his back; at that moment they started firing again and the wounded guy got shot again like a human shield.

At first I flashed on the 'Nam days when a sniper would wound a soldier and then pick away at them trying to lure out his comrades for another kill. Nasty stuff. Can you imagine the torment of seeing your comrade picked away at while you're pinned under sniper fire?

I am perpetually amazed that the Cylons are smart enough to build human-clone robots, but NOT smart enough to win in a dogfight.

Also, am I the only one who was horrifyingly amused by the "CYLON VIRUS DETECTED!" and firewall nonsense in this episode?

                          Who? Gada?

Nah. Nobody really high up is a Cylon, or else the fleet would be toast by now.

My list of people that can't be Cylons without REALLY stretching the plot too thin:

                          - Apollo
                          - Starbuck
                          - Adama
                          - Tigh
                          - Tigh's Wife (although we're iffy on this, they WANT us to be iffy on this - if she IS a Cylon we won't find it out until like the 5th season)
                          - President Whatshertits
                          - Gada
                          - Tigh's Immediate Underling
                          - Uhura (the communications chick, heehee)
                          - Hilo
                          - Baltar
                          - Zerrik
                          - The Chief

If all they wanted to do was destroy the fleet they could have easily done it by now. There's something else afoot.

Gada is high on the suspect list on some fan sites that I've seen.

Not that I visit fan sites...

Well the Cylon fighters are built in large quanties and are there for cheap...christ they have what like 200+ per base star? The Human Clone robots prob are very expesive to build..thus the limited amount of them....lol

Ahh, fan sites are nuts. I wanted an answer to a nagging question about Alias (we missed half of season 2, and most of season 4 was predicated on it... *sigh*) and made the mistake of going to the Alias fan site... OH MY DEAR GOD.
