Thinking about it some more, I can't really remember ever being depressed. Sick and tired of life, yes... frustrated and angry, yes... disapointed at everything in general, yes... but not depressed... weird.
I got 15, but I think mainly because there weren't any positive options and the scale was too coarse.
Now if you guys want to look at positive things, take a look at my www.personalitystrengths.com site. It is much improved since it was first launched. Please also tell all your friends about it.
If you believe in this way of getting depressed, so be it. It's a load of dangerous codswallop or bullcrap. Dangerous because it could tip the balance to deeper depression if somebody doing it was really depressed. That having been said, I got 4. And I don't get depressed because I'm older: yes, I may not be able to sprint 100 m in less than 10 seconds (or 20!), but who the hell cares? I certainly don't. Getting older also has its compensations, you know.
If you think your depressed, you'll become more depressed.
If you think you're life sucks, It will.
......
The mind is a very powerful thing.
If you think you life is...... it will be.
If you dwell on bad.... it shall be that way.
If you dwell on good... This is a hard one for the dreary.
Bottom line - You are what you think you are.
Don't worry... be happy (damn I hate that song), worked for turning my life around.
A lot of people get down over things 'out of their control'.
