You know those LED scroll panels that the text goes from right to left in subways and the metro and what not...

When you hold down the scroll it's supposed to look like a scroll panel except it's hard to read.

edit (somehow...: "prepost edit"): I wanted to insert here how to look at the issue...probably it would reveal too much. So instead I'm leaving few hints below, that shouldn't ruin the whole thing (even though probably they are more revealing than initial response...but in a different way)

But even with the best will in the world, I cant say what its supposed to be.

My subconscious is trying to make it look kind of dirty (Your thinking Pr0n!), but I really cant get it.

Well I looked at a few of the thoughs and created a little app to examine the formatting idea and the reading each line like a LED display.

The attached is a C# project with the source if some one wants to play with it. If not there are compiled versions in the release and debug directories under the bin directory so you can see the formatted version or the LED idea. Open the txt file hit fix to see the formatted version (looking at each line split on the kzy marker). Then to see the LED idea hit run.

Any other thoughts?

in what appears to be the key there are 16 levels. could this be a hex key?
