    I think we would do well to remember these men, that fought to end a war they hoped would be the last.

        The Christmas truce.. the last gasp of civilized behavior.. wouldn't it have been nice if all the generals and ministers had seen it and said, "Wow.. this war is stupid. Let's forget about it and go home."

          Should have just played the soccer match to decide the war and then been done with it..
