Something touched the fence

Golan heights, Israeli - Syrian border, something just touched the electronic fence:

is it dead or just stuck?.. either way not a happy snake
(the fence does not appear to be electrified, as the metal fence wire is tied straight to the rebar support, which would short it to ground )

It's not electrified, it's made to somehow alert the forces if something touches it.
About the snake, I wouldn't want to be the one taking him off there, dead or alive.

Must have a motion sensor on it. So the snake was still there in that position when they found it?
