Just breaking on Fox that the shots were fired on American Airlines flight 924 after initial arrival from Columbia.
Early reports are that the shots were fired by a Federal Air Marshall with one person hit.
Later reports are that a person was pushing his/her way along the towards the front of the plane stating he/she had a bomb in their carry-on.
At this time he/she was confronted by at least one Air Marshall, at which time he/she tried to escape and was either pursued or tackled (not clear on plane or in the jetway). During the pursuit or struggle he/she supposedly reached into their bag, at which time shots were fired.
Update: the person involved was killed.
Concourse D at Miami Intl. has been shut down and SWAT teams are all over the place etc. etc. etc.
