What will happen if "we" are wrong? People like you will laugh at us while we will be happy we were wrong.

But if "you" are wrong, things won't look so bright...

Not to mention that the only thing that can resolve this "dillema" is actually waiting for catastrophic things to happen... (which of course means that probably if Kyoto, etc. will succed, many people will laugh at them anyway...)

In addition to climate change, another thing on the cards is the reversal of earths magnetic poles. I'm not sure what effect that will have. Or how quickly the change will occour. But I assume that this field is another layer of protection that this planet has.

Even if we are right or wrong about what will or will not happen to the climate, making a real effort to preserve what little resources we have has got to be beneficial for future generations. Pollution etc too.
