    Because games are fun!
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

I've been playing a bit of EVE online over the last few months with a RL mate - and am really enjoying it. I was totally into Elite when I was young, and so love the utter open-endedness of it, along with the training system whereby it carries on training skills when you aren't playing. So you don't have to play lots to compete. Also the player-driven economy and industrial side appeals to my financial/engineering brain along with my healty obsession with sci-fi. All in all, despite not having tried other online games I'm happy with this. And it's not too addictive
