Maybe the way businesses work in NJ is different but in Canada what one would do in your situation is register an unnamed company (the government assigns you a #). Then register a "style" or "trade name" for each division of the business you want to operate as. It's very common here. Especially for entrepreneurs who have several businesses on the go.
That way, you could have two separate names, but both those names would be owned by the one business.
It make cost you more for letterhead/business cards though.
