And what if the Universe is much older and larger than the scientists believe ( ) and the “Big Bang†they say created the universe was just a supernova on gigantic proportions (or perhaps a massive white or black hole giving up all its mass in a single event) renewing this corner of the universeIf there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Most interesting from the practical standpoint is cold fusion, #13.
As much as some want to see it go away it won't, and even more interesting is that new modes of accomplishing it are arising including the use of sound to cause the implosion required. Something spooky is going on there, and some of the solutions could cause the nuclear reaction rule books to get re-written.
Even better it could let the West tell the arabs and their 79 virgins to take a bath in their oil
