    There's a new scoring record in girls' high school basketball. Epiphany Prince of Brooklyn scored 113 points on an astonishing 54 of 60 shots from the field. She's headed to Rutgers next year.

      No probably not. More likely the child of rather poor urban black parents.

          The coach needs to learn sportsmanship. The opposing team had like 4 wins and coming into the game was already way overmatched. It wasn't like she needed to score that many points for the team to win: the opponent scored, what was it like 37 points.

            He also has to balance sportsmanship with the opportunity for his own players to be their very best, and succeed farther in life. I'd never heard of Epiphany before this, and likely nobody else here has. But now she holds a record, and her stats have improved, too. This is likely to help her in the long run. Tough call for a coach.
