"Hunt" is of course a term very loosely applied.
When the birds are cage-raised, with their wings clipped, and no idea that humans could be predators (people-fed)... it hardly constitutes hunting. What I find truly disgusting is when these people who have big cats can't care for them anymore they wind up in this situation. Pisses me off to see practically tame animals (much more intelligent than quail, and often endangered in the wild) who have always been loved by humans betrayed like this and gunned down for a trophy room.
