I paid over $5k less than MSRP.

There's a website called CarCostCanada.com that, for a fee, lets you see the wholesale price of any vehicle and tells you what the average CarCostCanada member has been able to negotiate.

With that I was able to take off $2k.

Then, because I paid cash, they took off another $3k.

Lastly, the dealer made a mistake while inputting our negotiated deal into their computer to generate the contract; they didn't end up charging me for my remote starter.

All it all it was almost $5700 less than MSRP.
    P.S. You've been Spanked!

Apparently we don't need such big engines here in the UK:

The official Hyundai UK website. View the latest models, download a brochure, find your retailer and book a test drive.

Well, here we have small engines. I have a 2 liter 4 Banger. Of course it is modified and Turbo charged to well over 300hp..

Who hasn't had fun with cars? Kooldino and I'm sure GT40 has played with some powerful toys.

Well, that all stopped a couple years ago - right about the time I became self employed
My race motor is sitting wrapped in cellophane waiting for a transplant in a 69 or 70 stang - if I ever get one
I guess sooner or later we all grow up

It's not that I wouldn't like something more sporty myself (I'm sure I've mentioned my RX8 obsession before), but Wife+Kids+Mortgage only allow for sensible motoring for me. My current 2.0l 16V is a little sporty, but it is still a nice safe family car. And don't even start on gas prices!

                                Gas prices!
I've got 2 vehicles with 130l tanks - and in the winter they average about 16-20L/100 km city driving
