    Neutral Good Half-Elf Ranger Druid
    Follower Of Mielikki

    Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

    Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

    Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

    Secondary Class:
Druids are a special variety of Cleric who serves the Earth, and can call upon the power in the earth to accomplish their goals. They tend to be somewhat fanatical about defending natural settings.

    Deity:
Mielikki is the Neutral Good goddess of the forest and autumn. She is also known as the Lady of the Forest, and is the Patron of Rangers. Her followers are devoted to nature, and believe in the positive and outreaching elements of it. They use light armor, and a variety of weapons suitable for hunting, which they are quite skilled at. Mielikki's symbol is a unicorn head.
    Laptops: ASUS G750JM: Intel Core i7 4700HQ, 8GB RAM (DDR3-1600), Nvidia GTX 860M, 1 x Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD, 1 x WD 750 GB HDD, 17,3" FHD Screen, Windows 8.1 64-bit.
    ASUS Vivobook S400CA: Intel Core i5 3317U (1,7-2,6 GHz), 8 GB RAM (DDR3-1600), Intel HD4000, 1 x 500GB HDD, 14" touch-screen (1366x768), Windows 8.1 64-bit.

If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

          Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

His followers respect nature, and only hunt when needed, but are quick to defend the forest from intruders. Their favorite weapon is the bow, and they tend to be extremely talented with it. Solonor Thelandria's symbol is an arrow with green fletchings.

I decided to answer every question in the most evil way I could imagine..
Here's what I came up with:

            Neutral Evil Human Mage Thief
            Follower Of Velsharoon

            Alignment:
Neutral Evil characters believe in Number One. Their personal gain takes precedance over all else, and they will work with whomever necessary and whatever institutions necessary to further their own goals.

            Race:
Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'.

            Primary Class:
Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.

            Secondary Class:
Thieves are the most roguish of the classes. They are sneaky and nimble-fingered, and have skills with traps and locks. While not all use these skills for burglary, that is a common occupation of this class.

            Deity:
Velsharoon is the Neutral Evil god of necromancy, liches, and undeath. He is also known as the Vaunted, the Archmage of Necromancy, and the Lord of the Forgotten Crypt. His followers practice the necromantic arts, and raise the dead to do their bidding. His symbol is a crowned skull.

What? There's no option for "Level 8 Chaotic Good Dweeb Who Lives In His Mom's Basement And Still Plays D&D"?

                  Sux.

I used to love D&D, until it was really hammered home just how many problems there were with the system. It was during a campaign... and the intro went:

"Ok, your character is a 900-year-old Grey Elf. You went to the Elminster school of magic and sorcery before striking out on your own. After many adventures, you arrive in the town of Dorthox and join the party seeking adventure and glory, as well as more arcane knowledge... you have ONE level-one spell - color spray - which you may cast once a day."

It made so little sense to me... and a bunch of other stuff... if I play any RPG's now I'll probably play something from White Wolf or else some sort of customized D20 campaign.
The Internet - where men are men, women are men, and teenage girls are FBI agents!

I'm the least you could do
If only life were as easy as you
I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
                  I would still get screwed

That's interesting.. more interesting that my very first AD&D character was a druid named "Zorn von der Schwarzwald," who I played as a pissed-off environmentalist.

Chaotic Evil characters are the most 'evil' people out there. They are willing to do anything to get ahead, and will kill anyone who stands in their way. A chaotic evil person sees no value in order and governments, and believes to the utmost in the tenant that 'Might Makes Right'.

Mask is the Neutral Evil god of rogues, thieves. He is also known as the Lord of Shadows. He appears as a lithe man, shadowed, wearing dark clothing. His followers believe in stealth and wariness. They wear black and gray clothing, and carry weapons and armor similar to that of a thief. They frequently wear masks to conceal their identity. Mask's symbol is a dark, checkered mask.

Funny thing i noticed is that there are some chaotic paladins and monks, and lawful bards.

Gurm> It really depends on your DM. myself i like to start campaigns at lvl 3 or 4. You can only do so much with gouls and skeletons at lvl 1. D&D 3.5 is a vast improvement on all the previous editions of the game. It also depends who's playing as well.

if you get stuck with a bunch of rules lawyers, it's gonna get frustrating really quick everytime they interupt the DM: "You can't do that, the rule books says... yada yada yada" (i really dislike rules lawyers).

metagamers are worse; they are those who've memorized every rule book and use that information in game for an advantage.

Speaking of D&D, anyone taken a look at the new D&D MMORPG yet?

I suspected.. but you COULD correct it.

                              Is it "vom?"

You know I have never really had the occasion to make use of my college German. It has always been shaky.

"von dem", which is usually contracted to "vom" [pronounced fomm], yes. This is still not really correct, because Schwarzwald means black forest, and if you come from a forest, in german you come out of it, so it would be "aus dem Schwarzwald", which wouldn't make sense as a name. Schwarzwald is no region I'd use for a "noble" name (all the names with "von" in them are noble names). "Aus dem Schwarzwald" would really sound like a guy that lived in the woods.

So Schwarzwald was just a poor choice

And Zorn is not a proper name, of course, but you knew that.
