        Dell has a 7 minute trailer available on their site, which appears to be a promo tie-in for one of their LCD TV/Monitors. It features some extended scenes as well as some of the spliced together ones we've seen in other trailers.

        Dell provides technology solutions, services & support. Buy Laptops, Touch Screen PCs, Desktops, Servers, Storage, Monitors, Gaming & Accessories

        There is a special feature showing of it here in town. Starts the first minute of Friday (nice workaround for the release date). Too bad I'll be working still

        Then again, I think people frown on taking your 7 year old to 'midnight' showings...

            The review I read basically says --
            The good: for a Ratner movie it is okay.
            The bad: it's still directed by Ratner.

              Since when do reviews count for anything? Sometimes they're right, but most of the time, critics just can't seem to leave their anal plugs behind

              But yeah, Ratner is erm... Ratner.

                64% fresh on RottenTomatoes so far. Not bad for a action flick. The main trouble critics seem to have is that the movie lost its political and emotion edge now that Singer is not at the helm. But they say it's a great action movie.

                  Yeah, though that's something you should enter the film thinking, "it's an action movie". Critics have the hardest time keeping that in mind.

                  I have no doubt Singer could have made it better, but this is the final X-Men (as a group) movie and they needed to shove in quite a bit to satisfy the fans; they couldn't do one with the same pace and tone as the second.

                  It is obvious that it won't be the "better than the first" that the second film was.

                          Find a reviewer that has your movie tastes and the reviews can mean a lot. The critic for the Oregonian has great movie tastes and very fair reviews. I usually agree with him 90% of the time. In the weekly arts paper (the review I mentioned), that guy usually raises very good points about a movie; although, like most artsy papers is more biting of Hollywood movies than Indie flicks, still his criticisms are reliable.

                          @Jammrock

                          The reason it's action is good is because action scenes are co-directed with different director. The same guy who has done the past two I believe.

                            Well just got back from seeing the movie and, simply put, it was pretty damn good. In some ways it felt like the events of story were being forced along a little too quickly, but in other ways it seemed perfectly natural in its progression.

                            I'm actually a little more shocked at what happens and to whom during the course of events. In many ways, they flipped the whole X-Men universe on its head and shook it. Still, it wasn't a bad thing all things considered, though I'm sure many long-time comic fans are having fits.

                            It's no X-Men 1 or 2, but it's by no means a dissapointment. By the rest of the audience's reaction, I'd say the majority of the people there thoroughly enjoyed it, even the two 30 year old comic fans behind us who wouldn't shut up
