  • Stomach Bug

I'm just over coming a nasty stomach bug that I woke up with early Monday Morning with. From 4 AM Monday morning till Monday afternoon I just wanted to die from the pain I was in. I know I needed fluids since I was getting dehydrated, but well couldn't keep anything down. Is there anything I can take or do the next time I get this besides going to the Dr and asking for an IV and something intravenously to help keep the quezinous down?
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

peppermint oil vapor inhaled helps or rubbed on your belly/chest, I live on Altoids to keep my issues at a minimum

If you're concerned about dehydration try drinking some Lytren or Pedialyte and not just water. They'll replace lost salts. Sometimes water alone can do as much harm as good in such cases by diluting what salts you have left. Once you can handle semi-solids bananas are a good source of potassium.

AS IN ALL THINGS: DON'T OVERDO IT!

Yeah, I usually recommend mixing 1/10 milk in the water. Generally keps your balance, no matter how much you drink.

Ginger Ale. Vernor's in particular, it's a lot stronger than "regular" ginger ale.
