Yeah....that "great thinker" gave us Lyndon Johnsons "Great Society" war on poverty program, one of the most expensive boondoggles in US history. Policies set in place by his admirers were largely responsible for the breakup of the black family structure and many other 'unintended consequences' of over-governance.

JKG was a Professor from New England, which is to say he might as well have been living on an island in the Mediterranean somewhere. He had no personal experience of living with the people he thought he was helping, so he had nothing but his innate sense of paternalistic superiority to guide him.
You know this particular situation far better than the Euro's do from 3000+ miles away.
I also find it interesting that they don't think we understand multiculturism when in fact we were living with it while they were still fighting wars with each other, with others including us cleaning up the mess twice in 50 years
Amazing how the French and Germans who couldn't seem to live together think they can bring in huge numbers of people 1000x more foreign than they were to each other, and everything will be peaches and cream.

If you agreed with him or not, it doesn't really matter, you can still respect someone you disagree with, and mourn their passing.
