Think I might have stated how and why I started earlier in the thread, but to summarize: I had an affinity to certain cigars and that started the smoking habit, which, due to cost, somehow led to cigarettes. I'm not sure if it was ever an addiction so much as a habit. Quiting was easy, but the habit is still there (if that makes any sense). Smoking became, after I stopped with the cigars, more about the circumstances of smoking and less about the act or the cigarettes themselves (or any affect they had).

I've certainly relapsed, especially when around a large number of other smokers, but only twice so far and I've pretty well decided that there's no point in doing so again.

Quiting kind of a trade off.
But what you save in smokes can be used to buy new pants.

Use a powerful mouthwash, like Listerine or a Cinimon flavored one, when the urges come one. If that don't work, carry around some orange juice, or other strong citrus juice. It help quash the appetite.
