Our Honey & Cream sweet corn crop is in

We have a garden with 2 rows planted in time staggered fashion, so the harvest will be ongoing for several weeks.

2 minutes from harvest to the the BBQ

Mmmm... do miss fresh corn. My papa (grandfather) used to have a few acres worth of the stuff in North Carolina. We would always come around to visit in time to help harvest.

Looks like some decently good corn there

Even if you don't grow your own there's lots available. In this area farmers markets outnumber McDonalds

The going rate is 12 ears for ~$2.00 and the supply will be constant 'til late fall. Because of the mild spring the quality is extremely high.

Yeah, we have it available here, but I've never found any to be of the same quality as the stuff I grew up on. That goes for most vegetables and fruits you can find at the farmer's markets around these parts. Sweet corn doesn't seem to be as popular a crop either for whatever reason.

Then again, it's hard to get sweetened tea served as well
