I was refferring to the earlier models as I'm not familiar with the modern ones.

The one on cjolley's bike kinda looks like it's made for street, but with the springs in the seat I doubt the rear suspension is even useful unless cjolley likes to jump curbs.
    Titanium is the new bling!

      Hey, it's the $89 Wal-Mart special.
It is for the street and is medium comfortable, barely.
The only thing I really don't like about it is that the rake angle is so low that it can't be ridden with no hands. It's just not stable enough.

At 89$ it's probably not that light either I would imagine.

It's very light. I was suprised.

PS Most of my expierience with bicycles is >30 years ago. but it is much lighter than Becky's '70 Motobecane that we still have.

Do you know what materials are used for the frame?

              I'm pretty sure it's aluminum.

                  Nice bike, Zokes

Thanks. Can you beleive that I've had it since 1996? And that pic was taken just a few months ago too. That thing has been abused and has spent a lot of winters outside and it still looks that good. Damn I love that bike.

Now you all know where my nick comes from too!

I knew - you posted something about having a Zokes fork and not being able to afford a ZokesPro fork (or something like that) sometime last Millennium

Actually, the name Zokes does come from my bike suspension, but the ZokesPro part I added when I finished high shcool and started college.

@Az: Yup. So now you all have proof of where my nick comes from. That's my current room too, and you can also see my rollerblades.

@Technoid: I had to refurbish the suspension cause it uses cartridges and most of them turned solid and the suspension was bottomed out. What brand of derailleurs are you using on your bike? Is that Shimano Alivio?
