it isn't that hard to run up $100 a head here, if its a long night, but even here, you would be hard pressed to do $100 a plate, unless it was a kobe beef/whale/fugo combo platter
jokes aside I know of places here that would quite happily produce plates worth that, but they are not the sort of places most of us ever go to.

I guess to some folks money is expendable enough to warrant small increments of 'culture' or 'taste' for large increments of finances.
I'll stick to my $1.00 home made burgers.
And you are all welcome to stop by and have one - on me
Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

Last time I heard about something like this they were 50$ and usually celebs were buying.

I don't like burgers, I prefer chicken kebabs as far as fast-food goes and love what restaurants here have done with the concept (we call it shaorma)

"Mehen's Eleven" starring George Clooney as Mehen. The biggest hamburger-heist film ever.

I just caught the tail end of Iron Chef America.

Today's theme ingredient was... (wait for it)... hamburger!

There were about 10 awesome hamburger dishes. All of which I'd love to try. None of which would cost $100 though. Maybe all together the total would be a little over $100, but it would be well worth it.

I took a careful look at the studio audience and for a second I could have sworn that I saw our pal |mehen|!

honestly though, who would pay $40,000 for a membership at any "resort" is beyond me !!

So to get that $100 burger, you must join the club so it will end up costing you the following...

                    1-Membership fee = $40,000
2-yearly fees = $3,500 assuming you're in it for more than a year
                    3-Burger = $124 including 18% tip
4-you have to wash it down with some kind of beverage, assume its a wine = $200 for a glass of Chardiney
5-If you are with someone i.e. a date take the charges from item 3 + 4 and multiply by two.

Total cost = $44,148.00 for a first timer.

Subsequent fees will exclude the initial member ship fees and yearly fees

So I would say no thanks! I'd pay over $100 at a good steak house with my wife, once in a while and enjoy it

                    Cheers,
                    Elie

Found out the other night that the local "Sushi House" serves a Kobe steak. It's not on their handout menu, but one of the cooks at the local Japanese restaurant mentioned it to us.
