Now if you had only shipped it to the right postal code

The paper work is the most important part - without that it will most likely get held up in customs for a while.

This ebay seller seems pretty damn nice, he said he will charge just $64 for shipping, if it is more, he will cover it. (I will pay all customs fees of course, with those I think they just use a dart board with random numbers on it). This is to send a roughly 40lbs, 28"x12"x10" amp.

Got the amp in on Tuesday - sounds amazing - still need a new cab though, this one would melt my current one if I cranked it up.
Total customs fee was about $100, original ~180, but got them to reassess the fee. Overall quite satisfied with what I had to pay ($0 would have been nice, but I was prepared to pay at least $100 if I had to).
Don't think I will buy a cab off ebay* though, the shipping costs would just be too high (we're talkin 4x12" speakers roughly 100lbs cab here)

edit*: unless I can find it in Canada

Great... now I am stuck at home with no car AND EXTREMELY HUNGRY

Yeah, I'm completely satisfied with the price, although I can definitely think of better places that $100 could have went to (ie hamburger)
