A German company has developed advanced sail technology, basically a really huge parasail kite with some nifty navigation software, that claims it can reduce fuel costs of sea faring vessels by a third, and get the ships there faster. What's old is new. They have made one sale so far, and I can see them making more if the tech proves feasible in the realy world.
