You are perfectly placed to give an objective opinion on the CRT vs Flat screen - Wide Gamut versions -

Give us a shout in a new thread as to what its like compared to the CRT's, pretty please

And at just under 600 bucks, I mean it wasn't too long ago they were at over 1000, and the standard 24" ones here in euroland are at 736 euros, down specially from 981 euros.

* Strangely enough, the new wide gamut 30" is 1310 euros (was 1781), and the smaller, older 27" is 1471 euros...no reduction for the 27" tho.
I have no idea how long these price reductions hold. If its there, its not obvious.
