It's so damn hot today, I had to buy beer. I needed something refreshing, so I bought Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse. Good stuff!

I've managed to convert the wife to bitter Really into Theakston's Old Peculiar at the moment.
Brains' Bread of Heaven is also pretty good

I've never quite understood the obsession with beer. Mind you, I love a good beer - so there goes any popular brands here - but I can think of more tasty and intoxicating drinks to consume, especially on a hot day.
I know, it's blasphemy.
