    One of my all-time favorites.

Not being permitted to die can be a kind of hell, too.

Making death wait for the time and place of your own choosing is all gain and no loss.
You only want to live till you are 30 (or 130, or 1300), no problem.
At least you would have the choice.

Or LXG. We've got Zardoz on DVD, it's not that bad, just very, very weird.

Ah, I understand. But b'ah! I don't want to choose when to die, if it happens it happens. I've thought about living longer and all my friends would have to live longer too otherwise it just wouldn't be worth it for me.

Logan's Run. People rode the Carousel on Lastday at age 30.

Logan's Run: A young man at odds with his society's mandatory death sentence for all those turning 21 plots a daring escape on the eve of his fateful birthday.

                      Title: Logans Run

Synopsis: Set in a future in which people are executed by the state once they turn 21, Logan's Run focuses on Logan, a cop who has to hunt down the people who try to avoid being killed. As his 21st birthday draws near, Logan himself decides that he wants to live, so he goes on the run to find Sanctuary, the mythical home of older people.

Director: Bryan Singer or James McTeigue (V for Vendetta etc.) if Singer can't handle doing Superman Returns 2 & Logans Run back to back.

Ok, now see here... I fail to see how remaking this could in ANY way improve on it. Michael York? And naked Jenny Agutter? C'MON!

I don't care. I care more about "now" so perhaps I could see a point in considering such topic...

21? And I thought 30 was a bit young to kill everyone off.. even when I was 14 and the movie came out. I mean, who's going to have any experience to run things before 21?

A non-naked Scarlett Johansson would even do it for me
