  • Stories of the unexplained

Here is a subject that I don't think has been posted so....Post your stories of things you've encountered or seen that cannot be explained like...

    1-UFO sightings
    2-Hauntings
    3-Ghostly encounters
    4-unsolved mysteries
    5-out of body experiences
    6-Premonitions

    And so on..

Let's keep it serious as there are many I'm sure that have heard or seen stuff before.

    Regards,
    Elie

I can talk at length about how each of these things has never ever even been utter remotely close to ever affecting my life whatsoever, safe for movies and (story)books. I will, uhm, shut up now.

        I had an interesting IFO sighting that made it into USA Today;

I had posted the incident to a website dedicated to such things & the next thing I knew....

Oh wait, #4, unsolved mysteries: My two daughters had a row yesterday and their stories were so contrdicting each other yet each plausible and I could not get any fact to falsify any of the two stories. So who was right and who was wrong....is a mystery to me. It is unsolved as yet. I fear it will remain so. Other than these kind of mysteries, no.

I saw some small r/c vehicle land in the testing area of a building where they test prototypes of military equipement (Oerlikon), but I think it's probably just some silent r/c vehicle and nothing more. Was wierd though and made us (cause 2 of my friends saw it too) wonder about what really goes on in there.

I have a few stories myself...

-once I had a get together at my old place, my buddy and my cousins husband were sitting on the couch facing the stairs, all of a sudden my friend said there was a lady dressed in white carrying a baby walking up the stairs to the second floor.

We thought it was my wifes cousin we went upstairs and no one was there.
No... no one was drunk, and two people actually saw her clearly.

              That was freaky.

-Another story same house, on weekends I like to sleep in, especially after a long night gaming, well that one morning I got nudged on the shoulder a couple of times hard enough for me to wake up, I looked around, no one was in the room, my wife was downstairs, so I tried to sleep again and got nudged a second time, like someone was trying to wake me up.
I got up, and a few years later sold the house.

I never felt anything like this before.

-Also same house, we were in the family room, and all of a sudden the light fixture fell and broke our glass table. which is weird because that thing was fixed in and very hard to remove if you don't apply some pressure to turn and release the glass housing.

I have more stories, I will post soon.

oh and another story same house as my post above, freaks me out...

I'm a good sleeper, so after a long day at work and few hours on the PC editing or gaming at night on weekdays, I'm out cold as soon as I hit the bed.

Well for some unexplained reason, that one night I could not sleep, I had an anxiaty attack, like someone was watching, I was nervous constantly looking at the front door of my house.
Finally I went to bed, the next day after work I decided to go to my friends place to vist before I went home, I then got a call on my cell from my wife saying our house got broken into where they litterally stole everything except the furniture.

I don't know if this is called a premonition but it's like I felt it the night before.

                Interesting!

I've often said stuff like, "Watch this, she gonna take off and she's going to crash her scooter at the end of your driveway!" And it really happened!!!

One winter evening just around sunset I was driving through the south side of town when I saw an odd object in the sky. It looked like a bowl with a wide rim viewed edge on, with a stream of random lights flashing across the bottom. Feeling a wild electric thrill (this was during the big UFO flap of the seventies) I pulled my car over, cursing the fact that I didn't have my camera with me, and watched it approach. As it grew nearer the lights resolved into something recognizable: "STEREOLAND AND SANSUI----BEST IN THE DAKOTAS." It was a flying billboard slung under a Piper Seneca. If I'd had my pistol with me I'd have shot the mofo down!

The police later said they'd fielded over 1000 UFO calls that night. I never saw the flying billboard again. Stereoland went under not long after that.

I've been watching for UFOs most of my life. Growing up near an airport, I eventually learned to identify virtually anything that could fly. Maybe that's the reason I've never seen a genuine UFO.

Once, while having an out of body experience, my body was abducted and brought aboard a haunted UFO piloted by alien ghosts. The only reason I was able to recover my body was because a few nights before the abduction I had dreamed of a website that had instructions on how to deal with alien abductions. After the abduction I went back to the site and only got a "server not found" message, and after doing a bit of research it turned out the site had gone offline many years ago, and long before I had ever used the web!

                        Be very thankful for that....

And not only to Umfriend, anyone that has no experience with the stuff that “go bump in the night” should be happy about that.

More on the “fun stuff” later

Well none of those things are "unexplainable". We just can't explain them YET.

I've had experiences with "psychic" phenomena, premonitions and the like, and I have some working theories about them and landscape theory, string theory, etc.

Just because we don't comprehend the entirety of the universe yet doesn't mean that these phenomena are unnatural in any way.
