That's ridiculous. He doesn't belong on the same team with little kids.. at least it isn't football.. no way should he be allowed to play that. But if this guy was barrelling toward you at the plate, would you even try to tag him if you were 4'10, 80lbs? It would be suicide.
I hope he's been checked for pituitary gigantism! It would need to be diagnosed now to prevent much greater problems in the future.
KvH, shame on you for wanting to exclude him just because he's different. I'm not really surprised though...
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox
IIRC his dad's the team coach and is also very tall.
Also; when I coached Babe Ruth and Little League (4 championships in 5 years ) there was a rule about how to handle outsized kids. Depending on the situation they would often be bumped up to a league with bigger, more durable kids by arranging an age waiver.

Well I can see where your POV comes from since you are tall, but I also know how tall people often look down on average sized people. You can tell just from body language. If he did run into an average sized boy his age, he could cause some serious damage.. worse still since it's a common adolescent thing to not know one's own strength..
