    Ernesto leaves Florida unscathed

Ernesto lost much of its punch crossing eastern Cuba and made landfall late Tuesday on Plantation Key, Fla., with 45 mph wind
If it was only 45 mph at landfall, it would be half that inland.

Sorry, but much ado about nothing?????

I’m not disappointed it wasn’t a major storm to hit the area. I’d rather overreact (and I did), then end up in a middle of something major with a little kids.

Still, I’m glad we did miss a couple of miserable rainy days in a hotel room with the kids. I did spare myself some sanity, you know… .

Just becouse Florida got lucky, doesn't mean it could be much worse... .

-- The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch for South Carolina and North Carolina as Tropical Storm Ernesto’s winds strengthen to 60 mph.
