There was an article in my favourite computer mag a few years ago about how official .doc files often have earlier drafts of the text still in them - often with quite embarassing content. (And of course a how-to-not-embarrass-yourself article) -
Well this is a variant of the embarrasing tech TV photo scandal. One of their VJ's (who is a woman, and a hot one at that) put up photos of herself, that were cropped. Someone realized that Photoshop stored the original thumbnail as metadata on the file, and it turns out that she had cropped out... her naked body! The thumbnails were small, but clear... and thus a scandal is born!
People need to learn to secure their data.
