House bricks for sale

I have ~200 bricks to shift, so was checking ebay to see what they might go for, and came across this description:

For Sale...

House Bricks,

UnUsed last part of a consignment that was used to build a bathroom and sun lounge..

Approximately 200 - 300 bricks in total

Buyer MUST Collect... and pay Cash on Collection ( to avoid unnecessary paperwork)..

alternatively we could send them via Royal Mail Brick by Brick...

Please note P&P is very expensive for Brick(s) <each £15.00>

You could always ask. But beware, some ebayers try to make money out of the postage .

Here's the q&a that go with the item:

Me:

"If I were to go for the postal option, would you be able to cut them neatly so they'll fit through my letter-box? If so, how thick is your saw-blade so I know how much thinner they'll be when re-assembled?

"House bricks, well using the dremel u would get them at about 1inch square, so they could be sent in bulk of approximately 20000 pieces so they should resemble bricks when they are reassembled alternatively you could use them as real lego bricks..... Lol"

Me:

"I guess I could always build a scale-model village?

Will you be including the 1 ton of brick-dust that will result, or shipping separately?"

Them:

"If you want it then I'm sure that we could ship it.. as long as it is the right colour and not white then the Post Office won't have a fit....

P&P might be a bit expensive though for dust and unless its carefully packaged then u might have a little bit less that 1 ton at the end of transit...."

Brick. Mailed at street corner box with ample postage for weight. Never received.

Wrapped brick. Wrapped in brown paper; posted in street corner box with same amount of postage as was strapped to unwrapped brick. Extreme weight for size made package seem suspicious. Notice of attempted delivery received, 16 days. Upon pickup at station, our mailing specialist received a plastic bag containing broken and pulverized remnants of brick. Inside was a small piece of paper with a number code on it. Our research indicates that this was some type of US Drug Enforcement Agency release slip. The clerk made our mailing specialist sign a form for receipt.
