Reminds me of a similar incident that happened to one of my former students.

He and his fiance' were acosted on the roof of Cobo Hall (the Pistons home before the Palace) by 4 thugs with knives. Unfortunately for them he had a 6th degree black belt in Taekwondo and (? degree) black belts in Karate and Akido

Looking at that idiot smack the girl in the face again, I have to say they got off lightly. Perhaps this was staged, because I probably would have kicked the guy in the face as a departing shot before leaving.
