Get hit by one of these at 320 fps with a heavy 31" shaft behind it and you're hurtin', at least until you bleed out....which is fast. These carbide tipped broadheads will go through and through a human leaving a huge bleed channel, meaning if the baddie has company behind him they get stuck too.

Accuracy? At 25 yards I, and most other experienced archers, can put 5 almost in the same hole.

Those of us who can shoot instinctive (no sights) can do it fast, even with airborn targets. When I was a kid we frequently went bow pheasant hunting, but with blunt tips.

I'm not big on hunting, unless of course you consider fishing the same thing, but I've always had more respect for those that hunt game like deer and the like with a bow instead of a rifle or other type of gun. Even more so with those who can do so against airborn targets as Doc mentioned. Somehow just seems more respectful and actually requires some semblance of skill.

You should try bowfishing. I started when I was ~9, a year after Dad bought me my first broadheads
