Watched Aeox Flux on DVD yesterday. Enjoyed it on DVD at home far more than I've enjoyed X-men 3 in the cinema.

I tried watching the cartoons for Aeon Flux and they sucked. Maybe they got better further in. I'm not sure. I had to stop watching.
      P.S. You've been Spanked!

The cartoons DID suck. The artist is ... horrifying. I'm sure someone will argue with me and say he's avant-garde, and ultra-talented, but for my money he sucks. The story? Interesting. The art? Painful to watch.

This is what people are talking about. This is Aeon Flux before they decided to make a movie about it.

Yes, I know, that's grotesque. But I was talking about the DVD of the movie, never heard about MTV doing a movie length cartoon episode.

By the way, anyone ever thought what'd happen to Wolverine in real life?
He's be most probably dieing miserably from some viral disease(s) he caught when retracting his claws after killing someone. With the quantity of people he killed so far, he must have gotten some seriosuly nasty viral diseases.

                      You obviously don't know Wolverine.

He also has a limited immunity to the fatigue poisons generated by bodily activity, and hence he has greater endurance than an ordinary human. His agility and reflexes are similarly enhanced.

In addition, Wolverine’s healing factor provides him with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process. Although over a century old, Wolverine is as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime.
If anything, Wolverine would probably be sought out by Doctors and Pharmaceutical compagnies to try and harness his healing powers to CURE the so called diseases you think would eventually cause his death.

With the amounts of contaminated blood injected into his systems every time he retracts his claws... I'm not so sure about it. He may withstand the lesser viral diseases, but Aids, Hepatitis etc..?

Seeing as AIDS affects the immune system and Wolverine's healing factor isn't actually part of his immune system, I doubt that the virus would last more than a few minutes before being healed, same with Hepatitis.

In certain comics, they purposely injected him with viruses far worse than AIDS and he's managed to heal within minutes. He's not immortal but Wolverine has been through worse and he remains just as healthy as always.

But really, it all depends on the author. If the author wants him to die from AIDS then he could die from AIDS, but looking back on what happened to Wolverine so far, contracting AIDS would be like getting stung by a mosquito.

The exception, of course, being when Magneto ripped all the adamantium out of his body, and then his healing factor was far too busy keeping him alive to be bothered with trivial things like the common cold...

I heard Magneto put his adamantium back into Wolverine's body, is that what happened?

                              Thanks,

Nah, it was the Big A that put the adamanitum back into him. Wolverine 145. Three variant covers. One in Silver Foil for claws (1st Edition), one in Gold Foil for claws (2nd Edition), and one without (Normal print Edition).

He became the new Horseman; "Death", after beating Sabretooth to the earn the role of off the Big A.
