Kids are going to get hurt no matter what unless you keep them tied down in a padded cell, so what's the point on banning kids games? Kids will find another game to play and most probably will get hurt playing it either way. They can even get hurt just by walking (trip over something or themselves), are they going to ban walking too? When will this nonsense stop?
Titanium is the new bling!
(you heard from me first!)
The next step is to employ 'potential damage' staff, they will go from class to class marking in red pen on the children the areas that could have been hurt, cuts, bruises, scrapes had they been allowed to have fun.
Geez, you remember the games we used to play. British bulldog, Red rover, King of the Hill. We were asking to get hurt in those games
And we had some tough tomgirls play with us too.

Getting cuts and scrapes actually builds your immune system, which is essential when you are young. Someone needs to sue the school for not letting this happen, as well as letting muscles atrophy. THEN they would realize what stupid wussbags they are being.
We used to play British Bulldog at hockey practice - that was bad @ss!
At hockey we would also play one similar to British Bulldog, but instead of trying to catch people as they skated across the rink, we would shoot pucks at their feet from the side boards
King of the Hill was awesome too - on all the big snowpiles in winter.
Why don't they just ban recess already and make all the kids sit inside and play xbox and eat oreo's?

Yup... kids will be coming out of school so coddled and protected that they won't know what to do in the real world.
College will be quite a shock too.
