I kinda like Spock with the bling bling chains...But no...

        Other choices:

Uhura = Halle Berry (Do I have to add anything?)
Sulu = BD Wong (Law & Order, et al) or Shin Koyamada (Last Samurai)
Chekhov = David Tennant (Dr. Who #10) or Gabriel Mann (Bourne Identity)
Scotty = Brian Cox (Braveheart, Bourne Identity)
Nurse Chapel = Ashley Judd or Natasha Hargatay
        Yeoman Rand = Eva Longoria

        Possible Spock: James Franco (Spiderman)
Possible McCoy: Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap BSG) or H. William Macy (Too many to list)
        Possible Kirk: George Clooney

Brian cox plays too many slimy villians to be Scotty... plus he's way too old. How about the guy who played Robert the Bruce in Braveheart, Angus Macfadyen?

Halle Berry is perfect for Uhura, agreed.

I'd have to get Charlize Theron to play Yoeman Rand.

Agreed: Angus Macfadyen would be a good one. Ironically, Brian Cox also played in Braveheart as Argyle Wallace (William's Uncle).

Another good Nurse Chapel might be Helen Hunt...

Yeoman Rand could also be played by Kirsten Dunst...

You mean Mariska Hargitay? Yeah, she'd be good.

Proof positive he is a good actor. He's always played his roles well.

Is there a link to confirm any of this or is this just one of the many barely founded in reality rumors?

Charlize Theron is too old (GASP!) to play Rand.

                        I know! Lindsey Lohan!

On second thought, yeah. Kirsten Dunst.
