  • Very Advanced Warning

Not sure of the dates yet, but I thinks its sometime mid Oct.
I will require couch space in Toronto.
Good mates wedding of which I shall be attending.

Might be able to get east and do a drive by egging of M yet, not sure.

Probably not going to be able to get south of the border.

Those of you close to the border might be able to come up and visit if your so inclined.

I am not downtown, more like 45 minutes from the airport / downtown, but we can defenitely host you on a couch.. At that time the spare bedroom may have been converted for other use, but I can defenitely provide a roof

sweet, I need to find out the exact location of the church. She wants to get married in her family church, so shall find out exact locations etc shortly.

yes zokes, in about 335 days give or take 10.

Simple truth is, 1 week holidays I can do on 2 months notice, anything longer due to my position, requires at least 6 months warning.

If you don't stay here, I'd definetly make the trip that way for a MURC meeting

Thanks for the offer, I might just take that up, of course, I am never really fully on holiday, the Mac is sadly usually within grasping distance.

Markham's on the north east side of TO
Richmond Hill and Markham are side by each.
                      We'll see you next year

Great, yeah like GT40 said, Markham and Richmond Hill are close, right next to each other.

How long are you going to stay in Toronto?

                        See ya next year!

not sure, depends on how much time I can actually swing by that point.
Realistically I have about a month worth of back leave owing, but until I can train a few of my locals up to cover for me, sadly they don't let me out of the country for all that long.

atm, I am thinking maybe I will grab two weeks or so, allow for flights, jet lag, want to see a little bit of Canada while I am there, I do sorta miss the open spaces of back home, that and I have a desire to see stars again.

Although you will probably be more comfortable with Elie (our couch is more fashionable than comfortable), my place is always open for you as well. I'm closer to the city, more like "uptown" Toronto. About 20-30 minutes from Markham. Elie's place is definitely closer, so I guess I could be your backup crash pad.

We'll have to do some kind of get-together when you're here. If you manage to get two weeks here, that's probably enough time to see the major sites in southern Ontario, plus a side trip to Montreal for that egging.

Oh, if you want to see stars, Toronto is not the place to go. You'd have to drive about two hours out of the city before you can see those things.
