National Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2006 is scheduled to run from Sunday 14 until Saturday 20 May. The Department of Health is again encouraging supporters to help promote the campaign in their area.
There will be no specific materials provided this year for the campaign, as effort is now being put towards a wider strategy for more consistent promotion of the initiation and continuation of breastfeeding throughout England.
