    Pillars of Creation: 2nd look

    Below is a composite image of the "Pillars of Creation" in the Eagle nebula.

    The base image is the famous Hubble shot and the colorful overlay consists of x-ray emitting stars imaged by the Chandra x-ray telescope, most of which cannot be seen by Hubble. False color = intensity.
