Just got a call this morning from Barclaycard at work.
Hello have you tried to change your address to an London address.
What the eck. Of course I hadn't.
Luckily they failed on the rest of identity tests hence the phone call.
The credit card was changed mid Jan after it got comprised then. Since then it hardly been used. Yesterday for Overclockers to buy some Network cables a Camera lense and for paying ukonline via world pay. Can't recall any others but I can't long in and check of course as they lock the account down.
So once again how they've got the details. Anything with the credit card number on is shredded if I don't keep it. The last bill is in my draw and the card is never used in shops becuase I don't know my pin number. The card never leaves my pocket either. Thats becuase MY mother has Alziemers and may just walk out of the house one day.
Since the cards hardly been used I commented to Barclay card after ringing them back via the number on the back of the card that it could well be an inside job. Hopefully they'll have sense to check who've I been buying goods from.
