Y'know, having once or twice tried to have sex with a woman who had a "dry" vagina... it's extremely unpleasant. The article says that this makes it "more pleasurable" for the man. They're LYING. It HURTS to penetrate a dry orifice.

I know. But apparently they think otherwise, or have other strange reasons to do it.

It *is* an option. It's just an option that fewer and fewer people take these days. And apparently condoms aren't a very popular option either in parts of the world, so circumcision seems like a decent alternative to start with.

As Gurm said. Abstinence may be an option for some, but certainly not for all or even for a large percentage of any given populace.

I really can't understand why wearing a piece of very thin rubber on your member somehow makes you go straight to hell, but cutting off a part of said member is perfectly OK.

Economics. Over here, $6.99 for 12 screws doesn't seem like such a big expense. In darkest Africa, where - as I stated before - they are all apparently sex freaks, apparently that's a bit pricey.

There are huge free condom programs down there, and do you really believe the prices there are the same as they are in the US or in Europe?

It's far more complex than that. I was oversimplifying drastically. I know there are free programs. It all really does boil down to two things in the end - money and religion.

Money wouldn't be an object if they were willing to use the condoms. Huge sums of money would be pumped by the richer states into delivering staggering numbers of condoms there. If the church spent as much money on donating condoms as they spend on lying to the people (effectively sentencing them to a slow and painful death), this problem would be much much smaller.
