There have been a few posts about Dr. Robert Bussard and his IEC fusion research in the recent past. For those interested on next Tuesday evenings episode of The Space Show the guest will be Tom Ligon, one of Dr. Bussard's former employees and current spokesperson.
Dr. Bussard's fusion reactor design is much smaller and simpler than the traditional TOKAMAK design being used to build the ITER research reactor, and one of his proposed fuel cycles leaves no radioactive contamination of the chamber wall, a problem in TOKAMAK's.
