i saw the movie earlier this morning.

it was ok. not great. not epic. just ok... bordering on good.

there were a few scenes i didn't like, like the stuff outside the kids house with the autobots clumsily destorying the guy's yard.

i thought the robot fighting was too frenetic: it wasn't enjoyable to watch; you could barely tell what was going on.

i must say that the comic book explained certain things better than the movie, and vice versa.

I didn't like optimus' face. i buy the need for the robot form redesigns, but they could have made optimus' face truer to the original.

i thought that the last 30-40 minutes were very rushed (too much happening too quickly with not enough continuity filler). i'm guessing that they either ran into a budget issue because of all the cgi at the end of the movie (so they had to compress the timeline to reduce costs) or they just felt pressure to compress the timeline because the movie was running over 2 hours.

or maybe michael bay is just an idiot who doesn't know how to tell a story.

My wife and I saw Transformers over vacation, and we both loved it. Which is strange, because my wife normally hates most movies and I usually hate Michael Bay movies...at least his recent ones.

But we both agree that Megan Fox is hot
